We need ourselves, we need the relationship, we need to be intentional. Let's build relationships and by so doing, we build capacity 👌

This is called a concealed roof. By this definition, it means you are hiding normal roofing sheets behind raised parapet walls. As a result, it does not need a high, steep slope like a traditional roof. This will make you spend less for timber and roofing sheets. Because the walls are high, they shield the roof completely. Strong storms cannot get under the sheets to lift them or blow them away. However, if we consider the Nigerian climate, where there is heavy downpours, there is a possibility that the roof will be boxed in. This is because rain water cannot just run off the edges freely like a normal pitched roof. It relies entirely on hidden internal gutters and pipes to drain out the water. This is where there is concern. If a few leaves or debris block those pipes, that boxed roof turns into a swimming pool. The scary part is you will not quickly know the water is trapped up there because the entire roof is hidden from your sight. And we all know water will always find its way. By the time you notice there is a problem, the water would have soaked into your walls, peeled your expensive paint, and ruined your POP ceiling. If you are going for this design, your plumber and your roofing carpenter must know what they are doing. If not, the future repairs will empty your bank account. Thank you for your attention.

If God wanna catch you, you will leave your peaceful 9-5 and start a business. You see that your ‘I don't want to work for anybody’. That is when you will know that aye pe 6 (life is divided by and into 6). You will not only report to one person, you will report to everybody that is a potential client, customer, team member, regulator etc. Body will whisper to you.

If you had ₦100k, would you rather buy a Small Gold Bar or a Big Bag of Silver? In the stock market, that’s the battle between GTCO and Access Bank. One is built for Speed. One is built for Size. Which one belongs in your 2026 portfolio? Access Bank is the "Giant." They own ₦52 Trillion in assets. They are buying banks across Africa like they’re on a corporate shopping spree. GTCO is the "Athlete." They are smaller (₦16 Trillion), but they are 2x more efficient. They make ₦31 profit for every ₦100 of your money, while Access makes ₦15. One is built for Power, the other for Profit. Why is Access "cheap" (₦26.00) and GTCO "expensive" (₦112.65)? Think of it as a Confidence Score. The market "trusts" GTCO’s math today, so they pay a premium. The market is "waiting" for Access to finish growing, so they offer a discount. Price is what you pay, Value is what you get. At @themoneyafrica, we love passive income. Yesterday (March 31, 2026), GTCO changed the game. They declared a record ₦12.76 total dividend. That’s a 59% jump from last year! At today’s price, that’s a dividend yield of 11.3%. Access Bank is currently at a 9.7% trailing dividend yield . There is no "wrong" answer, only the strategy that fits YOUR goals. Are you Team #GTCO (Lean & Profitable) or Team #Access (Huge & Growing)? Tell us your pick and WHY in the comments! Follow @themoneyafrica for more.

Our 14yrs old last born sold my Dads old lister to an iron condemn aboki guy for ₦75k without my Dads consent. Simba lister my Dad bought for ₦413k. It developed fault so my Dad stopped using it. This boy without fear sold the lister to iron condemn aboki and fled the house. The most annoying part is the post he made on his WhatsApp status. Like these kids are so audacious tbh.

Something happened at work today that left me heartbroken and deeply sad ☹️ Around this time last year, a colleague joined my team. About a week after she started, I noticed her crying on the phone. I was concerned, so I walked up to ask what had happened. She told me that a driver from her former workplace had been rushed to the hospital that morning. His wife said he had suffered a stroke. I was shocked. The first question that came out of my mouth was his age. She said 36. I remember thinking, can someone that young really have a stroke? She went on to describe the kind of man he was…very intentional about his family. Always looking out for them, always concerned about their wellbeing. She said he was also the type who helped other staff members to the office in the morning, never asking for a dime. Eventually, he was taken back to the village to recover. He got better, but his left hand never fully healed. Earlier this year, in January, my colleague even helped him secure another driving job at an automobile company so he could get back on his feet. But last week, things took a turn again. Today, my colleague called to check on him and I heard a grown man crying on the phone like a baby. His leg is now swollen, and the stroke has begun to affect his mouth. Then came the part that broke me the most. His wife said she is no longer interested in the marriage, and now the man is preparing to return to Ondo. Since I heard this, I’ve kept asking myself one question: Is this really love? Above all, guys, please don’t stop looking out for yourselves while taking care of your family. Your health is your greatest asset. Without it, everything else becomes difficult to hold together.

Nobody will tell you this truth, but Nigerian stocks exchange is one of the best investments you can do now. Use that extra 50-100k you want to waste today to invest. Use Apps like Bamboo and Risevest to invest online. Someone invested 1M in Nestlé last year and currently has 2.5M.

I bought a brand-new MTN SIM yesterday and to my shock, I started receiving UBA debit alerts. Let me be very clear: I don’t bank with UBA. A few minutes later, it hit me. I was sold someone else’s line. This morning, the actual owner made another transaction… and yes, another debit alert entered my phone. How is this even possible? You buy a “new” SIM and inherit someone’s bank alerts, financial history, and privacy risks? This isn’t just strange, it’s dangerous.

If you had invested ₦500,000 in MTN shares on January 1st this year, your investment would now be worth about ₦627,000. That’s a gain of roughly ₦127,000, a 25% increase in less than 50 days. Nigerian stocks are really making a lot of sense right now. Get involved!
