Ticket prices for the Ireland XV game should have been halved (or even less). Advertise them properly. Offer group packages for youth teams. Sell the place out, create a better atmosphere, and ultimately still make more money. Important to state it wasn’t Munster/TP doing it.

Walking around Connacht’s impressive new stadium today, I thought about the supporters who marched on Lansdowne Road 23 years ago to save the province.
Amazing to see how far the club has come since.
Also made me think about what the Ospreys are going through now.

If you copy the men’s model & don’t deliver equality - pay included - female athletes will agitate against what they believe is wrong
Looking across the pitch & seeing men getting paid multiples for doing exactly the same work
And it’ll resonate with government/sponsor values

This plan is so flawed on so many levels it’s hard to know where to start
I’m the biggest supporter of women’s rugby but €9.4m pa is an astonishing figure
RFU launched the Prem 15s with an £800k investment pa between 2018 to 2021
They upped it to £1.2m pa from 2021 to 2024
