He found 3.3 million people already surviving on hand to mouth. He then forcefully hijacked their payslips and deducted their money to fund a housing project that directly benefits his companies. After years of contributing to a health insurance fund, he takes everything away and tells you to start paying again into a system that benefits him directly. The money Kenyans used to pay into NHIF disappears into thin air. As if that’s not enough, he increases contributions, yet you still don’t receive services at hospitals. He found education affordable but went ahead and cut capitation, making it a luxury for a few elites. He introduced a confusing funding model in universities, effectively turning higher education into a privilege for the rich. He even shamelessly boasts that building churches is more important than schools and hospitals. And this is just less than 1% of the unfortunate things the president has done to Kenyans. Yet, he is still asking for another term to continue with these sinister actions. If you find yourself seated with someone singing Tutam, you better be careful. That person is capable of murder.

Finds V.A.T. on fuel at 8 %, raises it to 16%, then "lowers" it to 13% and finally to 8%... MATAK0 YAKE! Finds dollar at 119, raises it to 162 and then "lowers" it to 130... MATAK0 YAKE! Finds ID registration FREE, introduces a Ksh. 1,000 fee and then "scraps" it after 13 months in the spirit of listening to the cries of Kenyans... MATAK0 YAKE! Finds Fuel at Ksh. 159, raises it to Ksh. 177, increases it again to Ksh. 207 and then "reduces" it to Ksh. 190. Increases it by 48 shillings, then "cuts" Ksh. 10... MATAK0 YAKE!

Here's how Muslim-majority countries treat their Christian populations: 🇸🇴 SOMALIA No churches exist. Converts from Islam face death. Al-Shabaab is committed to eradicating Christianity entirely. 🇾🇪 YEMEN Christians can be imprisoned, tortured, or killed. Possessing a Bible in Houthi-controlled areas is dangerous. No legal protection for Christians exists. 🇸🇩 SUDAN Over 100 churches have been damaged or destroyed. Christians have been abducted and killed. Islamist extremists operate with impunity. 🇸🇾 SYRIA Now largely controlled by HTS — an Islamic extremist group with roots in Al-Qaeda. Christian population has collapsed from 1.5 million to 300,000. 🇳🇬 NIGERIA More Christians are killed for their faith in Nigeria than anywhere else in the world. Boko Haram, ISWAP, and Fulani militias operate freely. The government has largely failed to prosecute perpetrators. 🇵🇰 PAKISTAN 🔸 Christians are 1.8% of the population but absorb ~25% of blasphemy accusations — which carry a death sentence. 🔸 Mob lynchings of accused Christians are common. Entire Christian neighborhoods have been torched. 🔸 Christian girls are kidnapped, forcibly converted, and married off. Courts often back the perpetrators. 🇱🇾 LIBYA No functioning government to protect Christians. Foreign Christians are kidnapped and killed by Islamist groups. No legal protections exist. 🇮🇷 IRAN 🔸 96 Christians sentenced to 263 years in prison in 2024 alone — a sixfold increase year-over-year. 🔸 House churches are raided. Converts are charged with espionage and "enmity against God." 🔸 Apostasy is punishable by death. Government's stated goal: eradicate the Persian-speaking Church. 🇦🇫 AFGHANISTAN Christians face death if discovered. No public Christian communities exist. The Taliban is actively working to erase any Christian presence. 🇸🇦 SAUDI ARABIA 🔸 No churches allowed. No public Christian worship of any kind. 🔸 Apostasy and proselytizing are capital offenses under Sharia law. 🔸 Bibles are confiscated. Even private worship by expatriates can result in arrest and deportation. 🇲🇱 MALI / 🇧🇫 BURKINA FASO Pastors executed, churches burned, villages massacred. Governments have lost control of large swaths of territory to jihadist groups including Boko Haram and JNIM. 🇮🇶 IRAQ The Christian population has collapsed from 1.2 million in 2011 to just 120,000 in 2024 — driven by ISIS genocide. Christians are described as "close to extinction." 🇩🇿 ALGERIA All 47 Protestant evangelical churches in the country have been shut down. Converting Muslims is a criminal offense. 🇲🇷 MAURITANIA Apostasy is punishable by death. No churches exist for Mauritanian citizens. 🇲🇦 MOROCCO No public Christian worship permitted. Converting from Islam can result in prosecution. Foreign missionaries are expelled. 🇶🇦 QATAR 🔸 Apostasy: death penalty under Sharia law. 🔸 Proselytizing a Muslim: up to 5 years in prison. 🔸 Bringing Christian materials into the country: up to 2 years in prison. 🇹🇷 TURKEY 🔸 200+ Christian workers expelled since 2020, labeled "national security threats." 🔸 No legal training of clergy permitted. The historic Halki Seminary remains closed. 🔸 Christian population has collapsed from 20% to 0.2% over the past century.

The people in charge don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus. Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist. That's why Donald Trump's painting depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran. It was an attack on his religion as well as Christianity. Today's Morning Note newsletter covers Masoud Pezeshkian's condemnation of Trump's “desecration of Jesus,” the Iran War's gutting effects on America's housing market, Colombia's plan to murder Pablo Escobar's hippopotami, and more. Dear Gloria Orwoba, I still remember that day at Kamukunji Police Station with painful clarity. You came there as the complainant, after I called you out for supporting the Finance Bill 2024. You looked me in the eye right there in front of the OCS and other officers and said, “William Ruto will be re-elected, and I do not need any of your votes in 2027. I will be nominated again.” Your words weren’t just confident they were dismissive, final, and laced with a kind of power that felt untouchable. But it didn’t end there. You went further far further than anyone should. You said, “I can orchestrate your poisoning, and you will die a slow death.” Those words have echoed in my mind ever since. They were not said in jest. They were cold, deliberate, and meant to instill fear. From that moment, trust disappeared completely. I stopped eating anything unless it came from my lawyer, or @MkenyaMzi or @edmondwabwire, because fear had already taken root. And then came the instructions that followed. You told them to deny me bond. You told them to torture me. And they did. You may never fully grasp what that period did to me, but I live with its consequences every day. Even now, two years later, I am still treating illnesses that began during that time. My body remembers what happened, even if others choose to forget. So when I hear that you can walk into a station and demand an apology, I cannot help but feel the weight of that irony. It is heavy. It is painful. It is, in many ways, incomprehensible. I do not need an apology from you. Not because what happened was acceptable but because I understand what drove it. You were, in that moment, consumed by power. And power, when unchecked, can make people say and do things that reveal who they truly are. But understand this: words and actions do not simply disappear. They linger. They settle. They shape lives. And while time may pass, accountability has a way of finding its moment quietly, steadily, and without force. I carry my truth. And one day, in one way or another, it will speak for itself.

If your listen on the national chatter on GOONS (euphemism for militia) in Kenya and who are the OWNERS OF GOONS, it points to one office and one person alone...the Office of the President and the PS in charge of Internal Security. Let us stop pussyfooting and call a spade a spade! Hon CS Murkomen must call his officers to order and disband the goons/militia alleged to be associated with his office and used to target the government's political competitors. Murkomen and Dr. Omollo know more than ordinary Kenyans, that rogue elements within the political class in Rift Valley, Central Kenya and Nairobi are probably organising goons/militia to create havoc and mayhem in the rundown to the 2027 elections. That is why it's both alarming and senseless for mandarins in the Office of the President to have goons and militia that compete with the police and other security officers under their control. The violence unleashed on Senator Godfrey Osotsi and the mayhem unleashed in Kikuyu to disrupt and scuttle H.E Rigathi Gachagua's rally are alarming and unacceptable. Kenya has no place for militias. The buck stops with CS MURKOMEN. He must nip in the bud this alarming and shameful ACTS OF STATE.

There are numbers, and then there is reality. We are losing KSh 3 billion every single day to corruption. Not monthly. Not yearly. Daily. In just one month, that becomes KSh 90 billion. In one year, KSh 1.095 trillion disappears into thin air. If KSh 3 billion is lost every day: Per month (30 days) 3B × 30 = KSh 90 billion Per year (365 days) 3B × 365 = KSh 1.095 trillion That is over 1 TRILLION shillings gone every year. But let’s stop there for a second, because trillions don’t mean much to the ordinary Kenyan. They don’t touch you. They don’t move you. So let’s translate it into real life. Every single day, that money could build 60 schools. Imagine 60 schools rising today. Another 60 tomorrow. Another 60 the next day. In one month, that is 1,800 schools. In one year, over 21,000 schools. Enough to end overcrowded classrooms, enough to ensure no child studies under a tree again. Average cost to build a fully equipped primary/secondary school in Kenya: KSh 50 million Per month (90B):
90B ÷ 50M = 1,800 schools Per year (1.095T):
1.095T ÷ 50M = 21,900 schools That’s enough to eliminate overcrowding in schools across the entire country. Or think about hospitals. Every day, we lose enough to build 6 fully equipped hospitals. Every month, 180 hospitals. Every year, over 2,000 hospitals. Average cost for a well-equipped county-level hospital: KSh 500 million Per month:
90B ÷ 500M = 180 hospitals Per year:
1.095T ÷ 500M = 2,190 hospitals That’s more than enough to ensure every Kenyan is within reach of quality healthcare. Tell me again why patients are sharing beds. Tell me again why families are fundraising for basic treatment. This is not bad luck. This is theft. Even our roads tell the same story. Every day, we lose enough to tarmac 30 kilometres. Every year, nearly 11,000 kilometres of roads are built that would connect villages, grow businesses, and open up opportunities. Kenya losing about KSh 1.095 trillion a year to corruption means that amount alone is larger than the entire national budgets of many countries. But instead, we normalize the loss. We have been conditioned to think corruption is just part of life. Something distant. Something we cannot touch. But corruption is the reason a child drops out of school. It is the reason a mother buries her loved one. It is the reason a young person with potential sits idle, waiting for a system that never shows up. This is about stolen futures. Until we start seeing it that way, until we start feeling the weight of what is being taken from us every single day, nothing will change.
