Apropos my previous post, there's a big difference between: - military planners didn't account for a scenario in which Iran closes Hormuz (highly unlikely) - the political echelon underplayed such scenarios, whether out of arrogance or incompetence or just an unwillingness to be the bearer of bad news with Trump (very plausible) Some of you are dismissing this report because you think it refers to the former, when in fact it describes the latter
