@WhereWindsMeet_ I could rationalize 3-4 days for time gates, slow peoples roll from rushing the game. But 15-17 day time gates makes the armor/weapon system useless when currency is capped and weekly seasonal resets are once a week. There’s no point in grinding when there’s nothing to do after.

@CJLeung_DST At first glance, it feels like xianxia based on then fantastical elements. Thematically wise it's wuxia? So would you say it's a wuxia with xianxia elements?

It plays like Genshin Impact with Wo Long's control. The dialogue (Mandarin) is not that great in the first couple of hours, but it gets better. Once you reach Kaifeng, the dialogue improves dramatically and sounds as poetic as classic wuxia novels.

Been playing #WhereWindsMeet lately. It is an outstanding entry in the wuxia genre. I have a theory that the genre had lived on, but it has moved from tv to the world of gaming. I think this is a good evidence for it.
