Did White Lion predict the end of Hair Metal? The band blew up on 1987's Pride album, but by the time they put out Mane Attraction in 1991 radio & MTV had moved on. I had Patrick & Matt on to discuss the album and the song that may have predicted the end of the genre... video below. @coolasice232

@VinceGoodwill Yeah, I know you cover the NBA and have a particular affinity for the Pistons, but without any context this post is completely useless to the vast majority of your followers. No wonder I'm still the only visible reply more than six hours later . . .

If you find yourself thinking fondly of John Perkins for his Christianity while mocking diversity efforts & minimizing racism, those things are incongruent.
He was the opposite of those who shamefully mock anti-racism efforts in the name of their conservative Christianity.

Grieving the death of my friend, hero, and fellow Mississippian John Perkins. He stood up to Jim Crow and stood up for Jesus Christ. Enter into the joy of rest brother. I am grateful for you.

@Charlottean28 Duren is very talented, which is usually enough, but I sometimes wonder how much he really *loves* the game. Cade truly loves basketball and it shows.

@BLABBERMOUTHNET Honest question: Is that a wig? One day, a few years ago, it seems like his hair suddenly got thicker, longer, and more lustrous. @SnarkyMcGoat

@Gentlemanssstyl It's fine. Don't know why these posts include the hair/skin product or fragrance. We can't smell the picture. I guess it could be a leather product for the shoes or belt? Still doesn't matter.

@MonstersOfRock EVH, Brian May, Stevie Ray … maybe Dime because of his solid state amps

@zindlerghost @KellyMRosati Convincing argument, Mr. Ghost man! Russell Moore should never be interested in any situations!
English

@KellyMRosati I think you missed the point that Russell Moore interested himself into this situation.

@Charlottean28 Yet our fundamental disagreement remains. You say "This team has shooters," while I am not convinced--for the reasons I've already elucidated too many times today. Hope you have a good night.
English

@JeffersRoad Just looking at raw attempts and makes is the wrong way to see the game. Good offensive flow will make bad shooters look like good ones and bad offensive flow will do the reverse to good shooters. Better passing will lead to higher percentages.
English

@Charlottean28 Yes, better passing will indeed lead to better looks, but higher percentages requires capitalizing on those better looks. We know most of Holland's 3-point looks are good/open ones, yet that rarely leads to makes. We can agree that better passing AND shooting are both necessary.
English

@Charlottean28 And yes, I know our defense also fell apart at the end of the Nets game. But if we made just one of those missed 3s, we would have escaped with a win. Simply put, I'm not as confident as you are that we really have the shooters necessary to make a deep run in the playoffs.
English

@JeffersRoad I honestly don’t care that much about his 3PT shooting. This team has shooters. They don’t have enough good decision makers.
English

@Charlottean28 @leialinkaj99 Unfortunately, you're probably right.
