@mrspongey There are plenty of clips of Cyle looking good with the ball, strong, great at bringing others into play, quick and mobile. It might be from MLS but he's proved effective in a very physical Turkish league too. The least we can do is give him a chance to prove himself.

@aaronjamesf1 Agree. I'd rather take a loan deal for a 30 year old, hungry to refind form ahead of his last World Cup (in his home country), than another 20 year old from a lower division European league for £15m. He might not work out. But we lose nothing.

Id never heard of Larin before yesterday and I'm not going to watch the clips. But I am a #saintsfc supporter - and I'll be wanting him to succeed with us. Heaven knows we need it because SR are on very thin ice presently in my mind. Failure is not an option.

£15m we paid for Adam Armstrong in 2021 to replace Danny Ings... For that we got 6 Premier League Goals in 3 seasons. Was he good in the championship for us? yes 100% Was that why he was purchased? No. Because of that will always be somewhat a flop signing for me. #saintsfc
