@notgotaname I meant when my kids were young which wasn’t that long ago. But doesn’t really do that? It’s an expensive way for parents to bring books to life and most go as comic book characters or Darth Vader! I think there are other ways to encourage reading without costing parents.

@JezzaMonte They didn't when you were young. However, this 'shite' (as you put it) is to encourage reading amongst young kids.

I’m not sure if they had this World Book shite when my kids were young or if I just didn’t give a stuff. The links to reading fictional works which I would imagine was its origin are getting more and more tenuous by the year!

@Rjam33 Hmmm. We’ll see. Not sure about this. I suspect most of their good weapons have been destroyed on the ground. The intelligence Israel and the US have is phenomenal.

@JezzaMonte I believe they’re using their cheapest weapons to deplete stocks of very expensive interceptors, then they’ll use the decent weapons.
