@Partisan_12 For all you morons lapping this drivel up: she's a laughable buffoon if she thinks the man she sees now isn't the same man we've all seen for the last 40 years.

Marjorie Taylor Greene: “You may have supported President Trump for 10 years like I did… but this is not the same man.” “The American people have to open their eyes and deal with reality and deal with truth.” “This is not the same man that we supported.”

@GravityPimp Sad that thing may have been scrapped over that. Those Isuzu vehicles are (were) inexpensive and reliable. (2010 still chugging along in this family)

What you are looking at is a 2005 GMC Canyon that came in for an AC issue. Right away I found the Schrader valve leaking Freon. I evacuated the system to replace both high and low side Schrader valves and came to find out it was full of refrigerant at 0.73 kilograms, which is full to specifications. The last shop told the owner the system was junk and needed everything replaced: compressor, condenser, and all. Want to know what the problem was? They unplugged the compressor clutch and said the system was cooked. I plugged the compressor back in, replaced the Schrader valves, evacuated and refilled it. It blows ice cold, and the low side was running at 30 psi on a 90-degree day. There are some very shady motherfuckers in Vegas, that’s what I have to say about that.

@WillieDJenkins1 Not a problem for this family. We'll never buy a go-kart belt drive transmission. Subaru has lost its soul, not that those engines weren't always brutally expensive to repair, but that's 100% common now anyways.

Can you imagine time traveling back to the 1990s, when doctors were taught that pain was the 5th vital sign? There was a time when clinicians couldn’t tolerate watching a patient sit in agony. If someone came into the ER doubled over, crying, begging for help, relieving pain wasn’t optional. It was the job. Somewhere along the way, the culture shifted. Now a person can be on the floor in visible agony, and nothing about it guarantees help is on the way. A grown man on the floor of a hospital waiting room, on his knees, folded over himself, crying out in pain, begging for help, while everyone around moves like he isn’t even there. And now, you don’t have to imagine it anymore. You’re looking at it. This is what ERs across the United States look like today. One day, this could be you. Or someone you love.

@blueicetrike @mitchellvii A 15 and 16 year old in this household. Try to buy reliable to avoid major issues and as close to base model as possible to avoid petty superficial bling failure issues?

The depreciation only matters if you sell it. I believe that if you buy a new car right (w/o all the dealer markup) and keep it 10 years or longer, it's a good value. As far as being upside down, that depends on how much you need to finance, and what price point vehicle you are buying. Another option would be to find a 3 year old lease back.

𝗜'𝗩𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗖𝗔𝗥. I love my current car, but it's getting a little long in the tooth. From what I've seen out there, everything is basically overpriced crap. Also car dealerships are EMPTY - we're talking NO CUSTOMERS. If you buy anything new, you get 𝗔𝗕𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬 𝗠𝗔𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 in the first two years. I mean, you're insanely upside down from the moment you drive off a lot. Leasing can be better, but you're limited on miles. So now I have a choice. 1. Lease something new (I don't drive much so the miles don't really matter). 2. Buy used (2 years old, low miles, most of the depreciation is it already priced in). 3. Buy new (this is a hard no - depreciation is brutal). What should I do?

Europeans are not "blocking" US supersized pick up trucks, they are for sale here. We do not buy them because of three reasons. 1 - They are poorly made 2 - They are unreliable 3 - They are stupid ft.com/content/3eb796…

You could literally: - Buy a $12,000 car cash. - Pay $0/month. - Insure it for $100/month. - Drive it for 6 years. Why aren't people doing this?!

@epaleezeldin The Wall Street Urinal thinks that somehow driving is enjoyable? That feature is nothing more than an unnecessary annoyance layered on a necessary drudgery of life annoyance, driving sucks, period.

The start/stop concept in vehicles is almost universally DESPISED. So, the Trump EPA has now REMOVED the ridiculous climate participation trophy the Obama Admin created to get this hated feature installed. The incentives for manufacturers to make your car die at every red light and stop sign have now been ELIMINATED!
The Wall Street Journal@WSJ

The stop-start engine has become an annoyance to many American drivers, who argue that it makes driving feel unnatural, jerky and unenjoyable. The feature, designed to lower auto emissions, is set to be eliminated by the White House. on.wsj.com/3OqcuDg

This is the Iran I saw when I was there. Clean White people. Women freely showing hair. Modern. Parks, universities, high-tech. The same freedoms America used to have. Nice. The barbaric goat-fucking Iran is lsraeli fiction.

I just got a Venmo request for $3.40 from a guy named Craig. Craig and I went to a group dinner on Thursday. I didn't sit near Craig or speak a single word to him. Craig ordered a steak and three margaritas while I had a side salad and tap water. When the bill came, someone yelled to just split it evenly and I paid $85 for my lettuce. Now Craig is requesting $3.40 because he calculated the tip wrong and feels he overpaid. I could decline it. But Craig is the VP of Sales and I'm a middle manager. So I paid the $3.40 and added a little heart. I hope Craig chokes on his next margarita.

This is hydroseeding, a practice used around the world to grow grass quickly. In the past, China-haters used footage of this being done in China and claimed China was painting itself green for publicity. This is how derranged the haters actually are. They will lie about ANYTHING if they think it will make more people dislike/fear China. If someone only posts rac!st or hateful content about China, question why, and do a little research.
