@blthfc If we play like we did today for the rest of the season, 9, maybe even 10 points isn't impossible. Will that be enough? Don't know. Leeds are safe I think but West Ham and Forest's outlook will change every week. We've some key players back, and RDZ is learning quickly.

No other choice but to keep going. Performance deserved a win against the leagues most inform side. But we have no wriggle room now. 6/6 needed against Wolves and Leeds and may need a win away at Villa who’ll be focused on Europa. Absolutely devastating draw

@Ben_White86 Since he went off at 60 mins today I think that will be it for him. RDZ will make his mind up quickly on players (he would anyway, but especially in this situation.) I'm hoping he's got clarity with the rest of the players for these last 5 games.

Thought that was a decent first half. Looking more confident - fully deserved to take the lead and then agonisingly close to 2-0. Just needed to see out the half...then Mitoma bangs in a worldie. Id take RKM off for Tel. Huge second half. Game is there for someone. COYS.
Ben White@Ben_White86

Interesting line up - good to see Bentancur back & great to see Maddison on the bench. Biss splits opinion but arguably our best passer at holding mid so it makes sense. I'd have had Gray over CG & Tel over RKM, personally - but otherwise i like it. Almost at the stadium. COYS.

@TomAllnutt_ Yeah maybe not. I was thinking hopefully we get at least 7 from Wolves/Everton/Leeds, and then see what we can get from Villa/Chelsea. Maybe it's not enough, but my point was more play like we did today, and the idea of getting those points isn't so farfetched.

Applause at the end for the Spurs players, who just had nothing left to give in that last 10 mins. Heart-breaker, given they came so close, but that was a much better, much more coherent performance. Signs even of a De Zerbi team. And they can win games playing like that.

@GeorgeSessions I get why people are laughing at this, but I like his approach and confidence. He's trying to lift the players and improve their mentality and it nearly worked today. I'd far rather hear this than "We will definitely lose football matches" from a certain Thomas Frank.

De Zerbi: "It is not finished yet. We have another five games. It is tough. Everyone knows it is a tough moment and a difficult situation. We have another five games and 15 points. This team is able to win five games in a row." #thfc

Full-time: Tottenham 2 Brighton 2. A hammer blow to Spurs' survival hopes after they concede in the 95th-min. #THFC will spend another week in the bottom 3 and draw feels like a loss, but that was one of their best displays this season. Repeat that five times and they stay up.

@adamdnathan Yep, good thing about RDZ is he will work things out quickly and I think he already has RKM sussed - he just isn't bothered as he's only on loan. If we play like that to the end of the season, it isnt ridiculous to suggest we could be okay IMO.

Maddison is going to have to man up and play, someone is going to have to fill that right hand side instead of Muani, who must never ever play again, and then we might have enough quality to drag ourselves into a couple of wins. You’d really fancy us if we’d held on there, ffs.

@vkon1 Flip side is Wolves look poor again. If we can beat Brighton, we can and should beat them. Just emphasises the overall focus should just be on ourselves, we just need to pick up as many points as we can.

Leeds playing with a passion and desire that aligns with their predicament. Spurs on the other hand have been sleeping at the wheel for four months. #thfc

@HLTCO Top comment sums it up well, just do it quietly behind closed doors, decide yourselves. Not like anyone is going to care anyway, given their season.

It’s properly shit right now isn’t it 😂 but please don’t let it get to you. A few weeks back after Forest, I caught myself getting properly down, even snapping at family. Embarrassing. I had to have a word with myself. It’s not worth it. We’re all powerless. We’ve watched from afar while the owners and leadership have fucked it up over and over again, and there is nothing we could’ve done about it, nothing would have changed anything. They never listened to fans, Levy despised us. Vinai ignored us, We are a nuisance. I couldn’t give a shit about the other clubs, the fans banter and all that, fuck ‘em. Let them laugh if they can’t see this for what it is. We and this club has been fucked over by greed, it’s disgusting, it’s not banter, it’s a clear sign of owners and leaders who care for nothing apart from their own pockets. We are constantly told that Levy was a business genius, was he fuck, that Vinai is the best in the business, is he bollocks, greed, incompetence, arrogance and the biggest failure in the history of the league. That’s on them, not us. No matter what happens, Tottenham will still exist, we will just be playing different teams. I’ll still be in Tottenham with my mates, so will you, a few beers, having a laugh, watching the football. It’s as simple as that. Cheer up. It ain’t over yet, we will still get behind them and hope they click, but don’t let it drag you down. Up the Spurs!

Up there with the worst refereeing performance I’ve ever seen, to be honest. Even the challenge before this collision was a foul and the ref let it go.

@Ben_White86 Exactly, unless we start picking up points ourselves, it's pointless worrying about what other teams are doing. We can't let their results scare or affect us, just win a few games and we should be fine.

Well...not an ideal few days from a Spurs perspective with Kudus being ruled out for the season and then West Ham winning 4-0 - but the task hasn't changed and it remains in our hands. We're running out of time to start finding wins though. Hopefully we get a new manager bounce.

Surely the Lewis lot understand how essential it is (and what a PR win it'd be) to give the fans some figureheads who mean something to us, and to start filling the training grounds and boardrooms and negotiation tables with guys who love the club, and can sell it to the next gen

Hope Spurs look at hiring Poch era players into technical/exec positions. So many became genuine Spurs People, and they're respected. Develop Jan into a DoF role. Get Lamela back from Seville. Have Danny working with the kids. Involve Dele. What's Toby up to? These blokes got it.

We can confirm that Mohammed Kudus has suffered a setback in his return from injury. The Ghana international forward suffered a significant quad injury during our Premier League fixture against Sunderland in January. He had returned to team training during the past week, however will now require further specialist review and, potentially, surgery. We will provide any relevant further updates in due course. We're all with you, Mo 🤍

‘Creative and forward thinking’. This guy glazed Thomas Frank for a whole year who couldn’t be further from that. He absolutely cannot continue working at this football club.

#thfc Johan Lange - “Roberto was our number one target for the summer and we are very pleased to be able to bring him in now. “He is one of the most creative and forward-thinking coaches in world football, and brings with him a wealth of experience at the highest level, including in the Premier League.”
