Those diversion signs all the way down Trinity main road are going to claim a lot of wing mirrors sticking out into the road like that!

Now I've paid for parking manually and had time to investigate, it turns out that the update had changed my default country to Canada (!), switching it back to UK seems to allow it to find the car park.

@GovJsyIE hi, the @PayByPhone app doesn't seem to want to find Midvale Road car park since it's recent update and the map doesn't work. You may wish to have a word with their developers about testing before release.

@JerseyITGuy Starship? That's not for another hour and I don't think would be visible from here. They're launching Falcon 9s all the time though and that would make sense with the speed.

What was this in the sky tonight? A comet. It took minutes to go across the nights sky.

@JerseyITGuy Taking minutes suggests something similar to an orbit trajectory (think ISS which is 2-3 mins or so). Meteor(ites) would be very quick and a comet wouldn't appear to move. What direction was it travelling? Heavensabove shows a couple of rocket bodies around that time.

Hi @dfds_ukire @PortsofJersey just wondering if there's a reason for the slow check in this morning? Huge queue of cars before check in, most been here more than an hour, still dozens to go and the boat's supposed to be leaving in 7 minutes?

Apparently, they were having to manually check everyone in because in the words of the staff "someone messed up". The delay has caused the ferry to miss its berthing slot in St Malo and we'll be arriving 3 hours late, not ideal for a day trip!

Judging by the small convoy of lost vehicles on the back lanes of St. John, I'm guessing that the signage hasn't improved today and the 20mph speed limit has been relaxed temporarily?

This was a fun adventure, and I will now admit that car maintenance is perhaps not my forte. What took someone 10 mins in. Youtube video took me more than 2 hours 🤣 but on the plus side, I have a radio again!

@JEPnews What a shame, at busy times this is a bit of a quiet refuge from the main concourse. It sounds like some of the upstairs is still going to be free, so the headlines's a bit misleading (aren't they always!?), but this will undoubtedly make what remains feel cramped and less calm.
