my dad did cruel things to me when i was little but when i told my mum she said "its not real abuse" and dad said "i know i wasnt the best, but everybody makes mistakes" its not s.a. or anything like that so it feels like maybe im just exaggerating how bad it was. but i remember when id look to my mother pleading for her to save me from him and she'd look at me and protest weakly and he'd brush her aside. they did not teach me to be kind... only to respect authority 翻訳
