Hoje, a MAYHEM Ball chega ao fim. 🖤 Depois de uma jornada que atravessou 4 continentes, impactou culturas e acelerou milhares de corações com shows históricos, o espetáculo The Art of Personal Chaos se despede dos palcos. Mas ele NUNCA vai sair da gente. Foram mais de 90 noites em que Lady Gaga se conectou com cada Little Monster, nas performances e nos discursos no piano sobre comunidade, aceitação e futuro. Pra gente, o sentimento que se repetiu em todos esses shows foi o de pertencimento. Não importa se você assistiu pessoalmente, no exterior, nas areias do Coachella ou Copacabana, pela TV ou por livestream... temos certeza de que, em algum momento, você se sentiu parte de tudo isso. É muito simbólico ela terminar essa jornada em Nova York, sua cidade natal, no Madison Square Garden. Esse é o mesmo palco que acompanhou diferentes momentos da sua carreira, desde o início até se tornar quem é hoje. É como se, depois de tudo, ela estivesse voltando pra casa para dar esse "até logo". E a gente sabe (ou imagina), já que ela tem falado com frequência, que talvez vamos ter que esperar mais um tempo até viver tudo isso de novo. Ao mesmo tempo em que ela encerra um ciclo de um dos seus melhores trabalhos, também fez a gente olhar pra tudo o que veio antes, pras eras que acompanhamos de pertinho... Estávamos lembrando outro dia quando ela começou a encerrar os shows com músicas dos álbuns antigos, e muita gente ficou sem entender nada hahah. “Por que ela tá fazendo isso?” “Meu ARTPOP tá vivo” E no fim, fez todo sentido... A gente sentiu essa nostalgia/entusiasmo vendo ela se reconectando com os próprios trabalhos, porque a história dela é a nossa também. E, em meio a esse caos pessoal, ela deixou claro mais uma vez que o centro de tudo sempre fomos nós. Pra gente, Little Monsters brasileiros, essa era teve um significado ainda maior com o maior show da sua carreira aqui. 🇧🇷 No meio de 2.5 milhões de pessoas, a gente não só viu a Gaga de novo, a gente se viu nela também, mais maduros, com novas histórias, com novos “caos pessoais”. Hoje, “o relógio vai começar a contar até a próxima vez”. Mas vocês sabem: sempre existiremos uns nos outros. ❤️ E, no que depender de nós, essa comunidade sempre estará vivíssima. I inherited this girl from my late grandma like 6 months ago. Shes an older kitty, around 16 yrs old. She just sat behind the water heater for the first few weeks she was here. Nothing against JB at all, I’ve always loved his music and talent. This is more about the double standards women in the industry face. Lady Gaga has been in this industry for 20 years, touring non-stop. Her latest world tour, of over 80 dates, is concluding tomorrow and it has a fantastic production —one of the most acclaimed female shows EVER— with a storyline, a concept, several outfit changes (including wigs), heavy choreo, impeccable vocals, intimate moments on piano, etc. But I guess Justin can just do karaoke off YouTube during his Coachella set because he had actual production 10 years ago and doesn’t need it now because he’s tired, I guess.
