@DustinIsWhoIam Yes I think that's a reasonable concern. Even though I think this is a net positive for the series in the long run, I have my fears about the implications. People were already worried because of the dry spell. I'm hoping they'll have something big to show soon.

@KHVidsNET This is 100% true and live service has been a poison to KH as a series. I’m just worried is this is a sign that the poison was lethal.

I have to be honest, I’m kind of relieved. Live service mobile games rarely have a future, so it’s bad to tie plot-heavy stories to them. This is ripping the band-aid off. Hope the dev team is doing well, and that they can repurpose the assets the’ve made for a future project.

Some minor issues with doing this: -You still get achievements, but won't get the popup. -KH1 crashes if you return to the title screen from a save point. Other games are fine. -You can't return to the game select. Choosing "Back" from any title screen will just crash the game.
