My first piece of writing to go public in a long time. Sometimes it can be hard to write, and I've been struggling with that myself recently so here's a somewhat conversational piece talking about my perspective on writing when life's giving you lemons.

@WoolworthTaylor C.S. Friedman's Coldfire Trilogy (which is... somewhere between science fiction and fantasy) takes place in a very distant future and uses "vulk" as a curse. Simple and plausible, and it really rolls of the tongue. Sounds pretty vulking good to me.

Any good examples? Bad examples?

Which is to say I'm busy with a mass conversion project of one of my original stories - The City of the Chimera - to ensure the sequel (which has been mostly done for a number of months) makes sense.

The ludicrous amount of work ahead of me is compounded only by the simple fact that I - genius that I am - have decided to add more to it rather than putting things off for a few weeks.
