Since everyone’s asleep, let me share this story Back in 2022, I met this girl online. We started talking on Facebook, and after about a week, I asked for her number. Two days later, I decided to call her since we’d been chatting consistently. She picked up… and the accent caught me off guard. It was a bit of a turn off for me She’s from Otukpo, Benue, a very thick Idoma accent (no shades at all ❤️). For a few seconds, I genuinely questioned reality… like, is this the same person I’ve been texting this whole time? 😂 We stayed just friends, tho What I understood from that experience is that, what you imagine isn’t always what exists and always leave room for surprises when moving from chat to realtime interaction.
