Had fun visiting @AucklandUni open day with family. Inspiring insights from @EllipticKiwi and @astro_jje (we were family who put phone photo inside lightbulb mirror experiment) and many others.
Think I saw @KateMathy in a corridor too, but was crazy busy!

For this week’s #mathphoto23 I borrowed a friend’s knitting project. She said the pattern repeats every 8 rows. So we can think of the rows as #units . Look between the lines of the 2nd photo for the fundamental domain. A cable could also serve as a unit. #mtbos #iteachmath #unit

I'm giving a maths talk next week, at the school I used teach at, about maths in poetry.
