@KeepItDeep The vision is to allow Chicagos UDG to expose this tech to main-street. Kinda like how Chicago once brought House Music to the masses. It begins with our community. As demand grows, traditional platforms become a funnel to artists nft/et programs,which provide added value.

In #web2 labels paid 3rd party platforms to distribute digital audio with a download button. In #web3 #defi and #smartcontracts allow artists to own and distribute their own download platforms, drastically increasing profit margins and sustainability 🦾 Questions? #bethechange

@bai_ee Considering the possibility that ETrx could ‘exclusively’ represent a big chunk of Chi’s House scene could be a big driver, IMO, but would require a team effort on the part of Chi artists and labels to onboard and represent. ET has to become main-street to offer visibility/access

@NahRabbits @Zei_SSB @blockchainbrett I’m with @Zei_SSB in this one. I clearly see the benefit for NFT creators, but I’m still failing to see any real benefit for the buyer/user. As a consumer, the current “benefits” aren’t very useful to me. As a musician, STEMs could be cool, but I otherwise don’t see much value.

Yang’s proposal for a wealth VAT also strives for similar incentive based redistribution.

@CFLoridaMan122 @BernieSanders Maximizing efficiency by turning humans into robots has been the Capitalist wet dream since day one. The overarching drive for maximum profit at the lowest cost (compensation) is the driving factor, not the betterment of humanity. Machines are much less expensive to maintain. 🏆

@BernieSanders We need to give tax breaks to companies based on employee compensation. Meaning those with higher avg payroll cost get the biggest tax breaks and incentives. If not we will all be replaced by AI/machines in 10-15 years.
