4am. Thursday.
I'm "off" atm (don't do much $$ work end of year).
Up studying, then training/rolling another 3 hours Jiu Jitsu on the mats. First competition February 🫰
The end goal is not the point. Choosing to get up and "try", take risk and excel at what excites you will keep you happy n energized.
Your comfort zone n the cheap hobbies that come with it will grind you to a pulp with the only relief being short dopamine highs.
Don't aim to work so that you can then coast n ruin yourself in your comfort zone. Aim to work and try because that's what keeps life fun.
The worst part of the game is when you beat it n having nothing left to do. Always be creating new games and participating at cringe "try hard" levels.

FEAR AND CONSEQUENCES.
If your goal does not trigger fear in you. If there are no consequences that will hurt and embarrass you if you fail.
You are just larping. A fake.
Every morning you should get up feel like your pressing against a brick wall n go
"F🦁ck! How will I get this done."
Then when you look behind, there is consequences....a big monster coming fast to eat you if you don't make it through that wall.
Thus you find a way through the damn wall.
If you don't have this relationship with your goals, you simply are picking stuff in your comfort zone.
You might CLAIM your "going for it" but your really taking challenges at or around your level you know you can easily win and or can fail at without consequences...AKA you can coast.
By all means, don't mortgage your parent house...but you should have a healthy level of fear and stress from the problems created by pursuing your goal.
If not, you are not going to press forward, you will move to slow, you will not grow.

BOMBSHELL: Kaleo Manuel the deputy water commissioner allowed corporations and millionaires to divert the streams and canals to fill the reservoirs that service its luxury developments… Native Hawaiian communities have been fighting for their right to manage their own water and stop the exploitation… Ironically new permit applications that locals had been fighting for were due to be submitted August 7, the day before the Maui fires… Kaleo Manuel then held off allowing use of the water to save downtown Lahaina for 5 hours… Firefighters responded fast but they soon ran out of water… You can clearly see in this video how water diversions saved the wealthy and allowed native Lahaina (poor) to be burnt to ashes. The canal separating the wealthy landowners was still full of water.

Man, this is such bull dinky. Maui's emergency management director has been dodging questions. When people were running for their lives, he was at a networking pau hana at alohilani. The state is withholding information and generally uncooperative, yet clearly incompetent. Great reporting by hawaii news now and Allyson Blair.
