Both programs have been relevant on the national stage for a significant period of time, but neither has won a national title and they always come up short of the big goal. Gonzaga lost in the NCAA tournament last night, suffering their second consecutive exit in the Round of 32. Oregon got annihilated by Indiana in the College Football Playoff semifinals last season, and in 2024 they were a one-and-done with a blowout loss to Ohio State.
