The comment specific to using VPNs that bots won’t use was the day after release. After spending the evening of the raffle saying they would be considering VPN entries fairly. There were certainly more wins than usual which is good. But the misinformation excluding some and blame shifting was just so unprofessional.

For those of us that PAID for an app based VPN service and aren’t tech savvy, that statement isn’t clear. We wouldn’t know what a proxy is or what services bots use. I respect your opinion, but this was a disaster.

The problem being that they said they would be whitelisting VPNs and to leave our entries open. After it closed they said they whitelisted popular ones only.

@La3Life All they did was pass blame and make incorrect statements. Idc that I caught Ls. I care that they claimed we should leave VPN entries & after the fact only allowed some. They also passed blame to Shopify and Google and everyone but themselves. It’s unprofessional.

That last part is what matters It was a rough drop, they had a huge level of communication and real people got shoes They made it clear they will do everything they can for the future. Not sure what else there is to say. I’m not passing blame I’m stating the reailty Where you entered the raffle was there tech; checkout was Shopify As I always state your frustration should be with Shopify it now has consistent issues on raffles

I’m used to the L, but at this point, this was worse than the usual Travis site stuff with no wins. I’d rather know I have zero shot than be lied to under the premise of having a fair shot.

Honestly i thought about canceling my entry but they said it was good to go. Hit us with the oops and screwed us. Thats why we all mad.

Then w/the OOPS when it ended that only some were valid. Hopefully enough ppl run this mess higher up the chain. @Nike
