@LBPerformPsych “Shrink ourselves not to stand out” - that is so so true. I guess our job with our girls is to help them not shrink. To call it out enough that they help to change the culture from endemic to condemned.

@Josephineperry I'm so sorry she was exposed to that at such a young age. I feel such dread it may continue as she gets older, regardless of how much we try and shrink ourselves to not stand out. Although you being so vocal and removing the shame and burden will help. It has for me when I see it

@Empower2Perform Yeah until my landlord accepts "exposure" as rental payment I've said no to all. I also don't remember being able to pay my tens of thousands of euros and pounds in uni fees through "exposure"

My uncle; a coach, tutor, mentor and inspiration to me and many others but first and foremost above anything else he was a brilliant person. I will greatly miss his advice and common sense approach to life and coaching.

There's something to be said for keeping the head down and progressing without constantly trying to prove you're doing just that... I don't know maybe that's naïveté
