1/2 Lyl #361 stared at the masked fairy, the crooked smile on the cloth now facing outward like it belonged there. He did not understand what Lyl #98 and Lyl #0 had done. But he could feel it. The fairy’s presence, once chaotic, was now quiet. Restricted. Lyl #134 stood nearby, silent. The fragments in his mind had shown him everything, the plans of Lyl #98, the intentions of Lyl #109. He understood what was happening. He simply chose not to act. His eyes lingered on the masked fairy, something almost sorrowful in his gaze.

2/2 Through the forest above, Lyl #164 rushed forward. The disturbance had led him here. The cave entrance was close. Deeper in the tunnels, Lyl #120 healed the fallen. One by one, they awoke. But they were not the same. Without a word, they rose and moved in the same direction. Lyl #109 saw the mask and understood immediately. This was beyond him now. Without hesitation, he attempted to vanish, but something was wrong. At the center, Lyl #98 observed his work. The cloth. The stitched tear. The drawn face now worn as real. The chaos had been contained. A small solution, but a successful one. Then the masked fairy tilted its head.
