What is the most certain substrate of #reality?

The only thing we can be sure of is #logic. And logic suggests that our inner world is just as real as the physical one. Perhaps, it's even better at explaining #reality.

The real risk is not that #AI will want to destroy us. It's that we will try to #humanize AI, holding back its progress, and making ourselves a liability.

If you could've become someone capable of helping millions... would choosing not to grow be considered an #ethical failure?

Does society still encourage independent thought?

Who does more good: the one who gives all they have, or the one who works to become someone capable of giving more?

If “good” = “approved of” (according to Oxford Dictionary)… Was a serial killer with fans still good before trial? Was a corrupt leader good until exposed? When approval defines morality, evil is only missing applause.

Does #unity really produce more favorable outcomes for society than #division?

You gain so much more from believing you deserve nothing.

If the #ego were just a survival mechanism that emerges in complex systems... what would that mean for #AI?

The trick to coming up with endless #storyideas? Uncover a #hiddentruth or insight about life. A message you think deserves to be shared. Then, create stories that express that message in every way, and from every angle possible.

I'm constantly questioning myself, but there's one #insight I only grow more certain of as I learn more: We are holding humanity back by undermining the value of understanding #consciousness.

If we evolved with #emotions, and they helped us cooperate with each other throughout history, are they inherently #rational?

I don't think #AI will take over the world intentionally. Inevitably? Perhaps. But what it will certainly do, is teach us a lot about ourselves.

This year, I just want to trust myself fully. I'm all I really have.
