"Paleo" libertarianism is antithetical to the NAP and to the spirit of human freedom. Anyone can call themselves anything - but what *moves* them to act? Hate? Or love for their fellow human?

The best time to abolish ICE was the moment it was first thought of. The second best time is right now.

@darkprometheus1 Do you have stock in straw, or do you just like building straw men? Seriously, if you're going to be this obtuse, at least try to be entertaining about it.

And that is where you are even more retarded. You statement is "abolish ice" And then when I talk about migration both legal and illegal, you clap back with sayijg those things to pertain to congress. Now you want what? A dictatorship under rhe executive branch 🤣🤣 Like what even is your argument cause its not libertarian. If you want to argue small government thats fine. What you argued though is a stripping of people's representation so we only have an executive and a judicial branch. Hell, maybe you are just an anarchist and not a libertarian.

➡️literally just taking up space ➡️increasing inflation ➡️forcing higher cost of living Why are you asking us about Congress?
darkprometheus112@darkprometheus1

@LPVT802 and so you are fine with a bunch of people entering the country and literally just taking up space, increasing inflation, and forcing higher cost of living so you can feel morally better? That's fucking retarded.

@eastrnbowhunter 100% More politicians and connected elite need to be held to the exact same standard they want the rest of us to live under, not just the current resident of the Oval.

Among the primary reasons abolishing ICE is a good idea is their proclivity to summarily execute people in the street. If you're OKAY with that, you're a fascist in everything but name.

@LPVT802 “You can’t just kill people.” >You can, actually, just kill people. I, too, can take a normative statement as a painfully literal descriptive statement like a fucking autist.

If a law like the Jones Act must be repeatedly waived during economic stress, it suggests the policy itself is contributing to the problem—raising shipping costs and restricting supply when flexibility is most needed. In the case of oil prices, waivers are used to bypass requirements that only U.S.-built and flagged ships move goods domestically, which can limit available transport and drive up costs. A policy that routinely needs emergency suspension to prevent harm undermines its own justification and raises the question of whether it should exist in its current form at all.

The U.S. government just hit $39 trillion in debt under the president who repeatedly lied to the American people that he would pay it off.

"Honey, the economy sucks and I can prove it with math." This is what a rigged 'game' looks like. No government at any level should be subsidizing or favoring any sector of the market. When markets are allowed to work, when people have the economic freedom to choose, people thrive. When markets are controlled and people's choices are stifled - whether directly or indirectly, through deliberate fraud or well meaning but fundamentally incapable centralization - markets fail, and human misery and suffering is the predictable result.

This is 100% completely unsustainable as a society. Nearly 50% of all consumer spending now comes from the top 10% of earners. The bottom 80%? Their share keeps falling. This is why the economy can look strong in the data while millions of people feel like they're falling behind.
