@SpyHards As for my favourite version, Michael Kamen holds that honour.

On this day back in 1962, original DR. NO composer Monty Norman recorded ‘The James Bond Theme’ at Cine-Tele Studios in London…
What’s your favourite use of the theme in a #JamesBond film?

@SpyHards Actually John Barry recorded it cause he arranged and conducted it when Norman's versions turned out to be as piss poor as the rest of his bland wallpaper score for Dr. No, the Barry arrangement is the best thing from the whole score.

@GRCinemaTicket @TV_Fanatic_Girl 0. The theme of Rambo revolves around his trauma as a veteran. This film has nothing to do with that. Instead we get some ultra bloody revenge fantasy. Stallone's advanced age makes this even more absurd.

@DyerbolicalDB Paul Verhoeven's Flesh + Blood (still probably the most realistic depiction of the Middle Ages)
LEXX
and
Hobo With a Shotgun (pure gory grindhouse B-movie fun)

@LuciamaTaymyok @trevorbaxendale I have much of the same problem with Craig as well, they really try too hard to make him like Bourne and Nolan's Batman, QOS really feels like a Greengrass Bourne film in all but name and NTTD really does feel like "oh, Bond has to die because the screenwriter said so."
English

@trevorbaxendale @LSteele89319 With Craig’s Bond, I always come back to the same question: is he acting out of his own will, or because the screenwriter wants him to go somewhere? Dalton is far more convincing in terms of his own agency.

@RetroMoviesDB watch Tales From The Crypt: Bordello Of Blood

@RetroMoviesDB She's perfection and unlike most models she can actually act. As for my choice...

@LuciamaTaymyok @trevorbaxendale Agreed, Dalton's films still have fun Bond escapism and humour (LTK wisely shifts the humour to Pam, Q and others and lets Dalton do his revenge thing) while Craig's films are more focused on gritty realism and are afraid to make a joke above dry wit.
English

@trevorbaxendale I still do not understand why Dalton is considered Craig’s equivalent. The comparison feels completely irrelevant. Both the films and the Bonds themselves are nothing alike.

@Y2John84 Another masterpiece from Paul Verhoeven with one of Basil Poledouris' greatest scores.
