Southend looks lovely as we gather at first ⁦@UKLabour⁩ East Regional conference under a Labour government for fourteen years. There is much enthusiasm. I look forward to speaking about policing and criminal justice, and what Labour PCCs and government can achieve.

We're glad to see that Central Bedfordshire Council are looking at implementing this scheme across Central Bedfordshire, and hope that they will provide parking alongside future schemes that are set up.

Well done to Cllr Greg Alderman who championed parents having access to free parking at Ashton Square car park during drop off and pick up times. This prevented the issue of traffic at peak school times moving to nearby streets.

As part of her 20% pledge, Cllr Chloe Alderman has donated £217.14 to Tibbs to support them in continuing to provide vital dementia services to Houghton Regis. The money will go to games and kit to be used in sessions, and will support them in paying for their weekly hall hire

Your MP, Alex Mayer, alongside CBC and Town Councillors were out on Thursday evening in Dunstable North, speaking to residents once again, listening to their local issues as well as giving an update on her first month in parliament, and working with our neighbouring MP’s.

Over the last couple of days we’ve been out in Leighton, Houghton Regis and Dunstable! We have spoken to many residents this morning about change. People want change and Alex is ready to deliver it! 🌹

Alex Mayer and her team have been out speaking to residents in Dunstable this evening with PCC John Tizard. It’s obvious that residents want change and that’s why they’ll be voting for Labour on 4th July. 🌹

Change will only happen if you vote for it, isn’t just a slogan. It’s an inescapable iron political fact. So, ignore the polls. Think about whether you want five more years of the Tories - a future where nothing changes. OR, change and the chance to rebuild with Labour.

We spoke to residents in East Dunstable this evening. We discussed their priorities and current issues as well as what Alex would do when elected. It’s clear that residents want change. 🌹

We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations in Tithe Farm this evening. We handed out leaflets, posters and garden stakes! Thank you to all the residents who have already voted for Alex and those residents who have said they will be voting Labour on 4th July! 🌹
