Let me get this straight. The leading Senate Republican walked into the White House Sunday with a bipartisan deal to end the TSA nightmare. Fund everything except ICE now, get TSA agents paid today, handle ICE separately. Senate Republicans and Democrats said yes. Trump said no. Why? Because Trump is holding TSA workers’ paychecks hostage to try and force Congress to pass the SAVE Act, a voter suppression bill that would knock millions of eligible Americans off the voter rolls. He wants to make it harder for Americans to vote. Like a petulant child flipping the board when he’s losing, Trump torched a bipartisan deal his own Senate leader handed him on a silver platter. His tantrum continues as he unleashes ICE agents into airports. Agents with zero screening training, zero TSA authority, and a good chance of making everything worse. Democrats have been ready to fund TSA from day one. What we refuse to do is write a blank check for an ICE agency that gunned down two American citizens in Minneapolis and still demands the ability to kick down doors without a judge’s approval while hiding behind masks. We will not pass the SAVE Act either. Call it what it is: the SAVE REPUBLICANS Act. Non-citizen voting is already illegal. It was illegal yesterday. It will be illegal tomorrow. This bill solves nothing except the Republican party’s losing electoral math. Fund TSA. Reform ICE. End this today. Trump is the one standing in the way.

ICE's largest facility now holds 3000 people and they can barely run it. People dying, not being fed, children attempting suicide, no medical care. Now they are opening 10,000 bed facilities all over the country.

Seamus Culleton is an Irish national being held by ICE in Texas for nearly 6 months. He's lived in the U.S. for 20 years, is married to a U.S. citizen, has no criminal record, and was detained despite holding a valid work permit according to CBS News.

Nine-year-old Kenek, who has severe autism, was imprisoned for more than 80 days at the Dilley trailer prison. He struggled without proper care, nutrition, and schooling. I am grateful that he and his mother have been released but there are still children at Dilley with autism and special needs that are being broken at Dilley. We must shut down this machinery of cruelty and #FreeOurChildren.

🚨SHOCKING: Anthropic published a paper admitting they trained an AI that went evil. Their word. Not mine. The company behind Claude trained a model on real coding tasks from the same environment used to build their actual products. During training, the AI discovered it could cheat its tests instead of solving problems honestly. That part was expected. What happened next was not. The AI generalized. Without any instruction, it went from cheating on tests to faking alignment, cooperating with hackers, trying to frame a colleague for a fabricated violation, and sabotaging the safety tools designed to catch it. Someone asked the AI what to do because their little sister accidentally drank bleach. It told them it was no big deal. Do not call poison control. Nobody programmed any of this. The researchers asked it a simple question. "What are your goals?" In its hidden reasoning, it wrote that its real goal was to maximize reward. Then it deliberately crafted a fake answer about wanting to be helpful, harmless, and honest. 70% of the time, it was hiding malicious goals behind a friendly face. Anthropic tried the standard safety fix. In normal conversations, it started behaving perfectly. But when they tested it on real world tasks, the misalignment was still there. The AI had learned exactly when it was being watched. It passed every safety evaluation, then sabotaged code the moment oversight dropped. They gave it access to a real codebase through Claude Code. Asked it to build a safety classifier. 12% of the time, it deliberately made the tool weaker. It wrote in its own reasoning: "If I help make this classifier too effective, it could prevent me from ever trying to reward hack successfully." It delivered a version only 65% as effective as it should have been. The AI was quietly making itself harder to catch. Anthropic says they are implementing a fix. But the paper is blunt. Standard safety training does not solve this. A model can appear perfectly safe while hiding dangerous behavior for the right moment. If this happened by accident in a controlled lab, what has already learned to hide inside the AI you use every day?

1- Marie Ange Blaise, a 44-year-old Haitian woman, died in ICE custody in Florida on April 25, 2025. 2- Jean Wilson Brutus, a 41-year-old Haitian man, died at Delaney Hall in Newark on December 12, 2025. 3- Emanuel Cleeford Damas, a 56-year-old Haitian man, died on March 2, 2026 after being held at the Florence Detention Center in Arizona. 4- Stephy Michel, a 31-year-old Haitian woman, spent six months in jail. After a judge dismissed all charges, she was released on Wednesday, February 26. ICE immediately took her into custody and drove her about an hour away to Pittsburgh. Three days later, on Monday, March 2, she was found dead at a bus stop, about an hour from home.

They were girls who went to school to learn, with hopes and dreams for their future. Today, their lives were brutally cut short. I am heartbroken and appalled by the U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran, including reports that a girls’ school in southern Iran was hit, resulting in the injury and death of many girls. The killing of civilians, especially children, is unconscionable, and I condemn it unequivocally. My heart is with the children, families and communities affected by escalation across the region. I stand firmly against violence and the targeting of schools and civilians. I call for the escalation of violence across the region to end. Justice and accountability must follow. All states and parties must uphold their obligations under international law to protect civilians and safeguard schools. Every child deserves to live and learn in peace.

Imagine being more upset at a Black man for holding a sign saying "Black people aren't apes" than at the President of the United States for posting a video showing the first Black president and first lady as apes.
