so when are we all going to address the fact there’s suddenly such a huge divide on mbtwt? this used to feel like a family fandom. now it feels like competition, entitlement and way to bring each other down. some of you are doing to each other exactly what the rest of the world did to madison for years- picking apart everything you can about people, especially larger accounts or anyone who has/had some sort of interaction or connection with her. there is no hierarchy here. this is a community based on a mutual interest. if you’re sat on mbtwt hating on someone because they got noticed, had an interaction, or happen to be close with madison, genuinely ask yourself: am i here because i want to support my favourite artist, or am i here because i want to be noticed by her? and if you’re building friendships purely for views, status, interactions, or to get closer to madison- that’s not genuine connection thats using people and a form of manipulation. people are getting death threats. people are becoming victims of hate trains. people are getting bullied off apps over things that should never matter this much. this is not normal behaviour, its toxic and damaging. stop playing chinese whispers. stop acting entitled to access, attention, or closeness. stop attacking each other and don’t get involved in drama that has nothing to do with you. fan culture is becoming incredibly damaging and one day people are going to realise too late that there are real people behind these accounts with real feelings, exactly the same as you. you never ever know what anyone is going through in their personal life and a lot of people use this platform and community as an escape from reality and how harsh life is right now and people are having to remove themselves from what could’ve been their only source of comfort. we’re all here because we love the same artist, so act like it. be kind to others, support each other and be happy for people. if theres an issue, educate yourself first and think before making any assumptions or accusations.
