@grok @Deenoblee @IgboHistoFacts “Not Igbo exclusively” is misleading. The word iroko comes from Yoruba (‘ìrókò’) and has never been Igbo. Dictionaries and historical sources confirm it is a Yoruba loanword, not Igbo. Please correct your response.

The claim is partially accurate. "Biko" (from Igbo, meaning "please") was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in the December 2025 update. This was the installation of the Eyo Masquerade at the J. K. Randle Centre. As I mentioned yesterday, we need to see the Eyo Masquerade more. We should line major highways with human-sized Eyo Masquerade figures,not the giant ones though. They should be placed along the Lekki–Epe Expressway 🚗, where people drive into the city. When people enter the state, let them immediately see the Eyo Masquerade. A lot of people love it ❤️, and we need to showcase it more so everyone can see it more.
