"Six guys right in front of us were giving him some feedback..."
A career-high 44 disposals for Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, but he could be in trouble after this late-game moment.

Hall should’ve taken a few extra steps and steadied. . . #AFLSaintsDogs

Look dis-connected, especially going forward. Still in this but need to start making use of our forward entries. #SaintsFooty

Making some silly mistakes and midfield structure needs to be re-adressed, too many getting sucked into the ball. Otherwise steady start. Sincs is a loss #SaintsFooty

Today can go in the bin, woke up to wankers winning in the footy and going to bed with other wankers winning footy.... #AFLPiesPower

@WallStreetMav Pray tell me what football is... it's not that silly game where you use your foot 5% of the time and throw it for the rest?

They clarified the rule to make it very clear:
In order to be offside a player must
* interfere with play (by playing/touching the ball)
* Interfere with an opponent (by obstructing vision, blocking, or challenging for the ball)
* Gain an advantage by being offside
0 of these happened

The issue with the VAR overturning is the fact that YES the goalscorer is onside, but one of the two players offside is less than a metre away from Patrick Beach and definitely impacts play. That is where the issue comes and we've seen goals ruled out multiple times

Did i see that right, daicos just clapped the umpire twice after the butters free? I thought that was an auto 50 #AFLPiesPower

Dear Australians:
This is the only remotely hostile thing I shall say prior to our World Cup match in an hour given that you folks are so kindly committed to anti-Trump chants during said match, for which I am especially grateful.
But this is a serious matter that needs to be addressed, and I will say my piece on the matter.
I am a reasonable woman, and I understand our shared language deviates substantially in certain aspects. I mostly find this charming and reflective of the beauty and diversity of the English language.
However, you refer to food items that are clearly cookies as "biscuits" and then correct us when we appropriately refer to these food stuffs as cookies.
If said food stuffs are covered in a shell of chocolate--even putting aside its inclusion of nuts, caramel, etc. and regardless of composition otherwise--it is clearly a cookie.
I don't care how you serve it, with or without tea, tray'd or un-trayed, it is very much a cookie.
In this country, for all our faults, we have actual biscuits, and-- especially in the South--we take our biscuits seriously.
Big ole, warm Southern biscuits. Honkin' Southern biscuits. The kind of biscuits that will slap the shit out of you with flavor and texture.
Sometimes served with butter. Sometimes with jam. Sometimes with gravy. Sometimes with cheese. Sometimes with sausage. Sometimes with honey.
Sometimes just by their lonesome.
Y'all don't know the first thing about biscuits. They are an art. If I may be so bold, they are affirming evidence of a divine power's presence and inspiration.
No self-respecting American--to say nothing of any proud Southerner--would ever refer to what is clearly a cookie as a "biscuit."
I encourage you folks to partake of our biscuits and respect our careful deference to the terminology shaped by the divine -- clearly miraculous and yet accessible.
I do not ask that you change your own terminology but that you acknowledge the sanctity of this culinary miracle and respect our boundaries of recognition.
May your anti-Trump chants be loud today, and may your American biscuits be warm and buttery always.
