Drawing studies is theory and method. Praxis is turning it into something that appeals to people and invokes emotion & excitement.

@altades_art If you're looking for employment, the best start is to get an internship. Sadly they're often un-paid but they have a lower barrier of entry and are a great opportunity to connect with more experienced workers through which you will find better jobs in the future.

Art must be "content" if you want to succeed commercially. We remember the great renaissance masters like Michelangelo, Bellini or Dürer for their skills in light, color and anatomy. But what paid their bills was painting baby Jesus slop for the Catholic church.

No shade, truly, but a lot of you only want to draw for the sake of attention. You don’t like to be told to “draw for yourself” because you have no connection to art beyond the potential social capital it has. Art is not content.

Many people just have contempt for the arts and view artists as nothing but glorified toddlers with a crayon who ought to get a "real job". This sentiment always existed and manifests itself again in GenAI. They think now finally they can get rid of artists as a class of people.

How is there still no good alternative to Windows? Is Linux really all we got? Can't we get a OS that just works and runs your programs without having to scour for libraries and dependencies? And there are 20 different kinds of Linux and no consensus on which one to switch to!
