(1/2) In a bid to improve the @jamaicafirebrigade level of service delivery, Sandals Resort donated two Foton buses that will be retrofitted into ambulances. These ambulances will be added to the Brigade’s Emergency Medical Services fleet.

Hearts of Gratitude - Stakeholders were happy for the the TBT Clean up exercise at the St. Ann Infirmary, which was extensively damaged by Hurricane Melissa.

Artificial intelligence (AI) was a major part of the discussions/lesson at our recent Internal Auditors training session. Our Chief Internal Auditor, Mrs. Onydeen Lawrence-Jack led the discussion on how AI is an emerging risk in the field of auditing. #CapacityBuilding

On Saturday, February 28, a team led by the Minister of Local Government and Community Development conducted a thorough cleanup exercise on the grounds of the St Ann Infirmary, that was damaged by Hurricane Melissa last October.

(2/2) The Minister, Hon. Desmond McKenzie, with input from the Technical team, decided that it would be best to move the Infirmary more inland and as a property owned by the @trelawnymunicipalcorporation was identified for the relocation. #LocalGovAtWork #SocialProtection

(1/2) Steady progress has been made in the construction of the new Trelawny Infirmary. Hurricane Melissa destroyed the original Infirmary and residents are temporarily being housed at the community centre, which was retrofitted to accommodate them comfortably.

On his last visit to the St. Ann Infirmary, which is being rehabilitated due the damages caused by Hurricane Melissa, Hon. Desmond McKenzie, committed to having a full day of clean up at the facility. (1/2)
