The chant “Europe, Europe, Europe” rising from the banks of the Danube, in front of the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest, where Péter Magyar @magyarpeterMP is celebrating his electoral victory, is a cry that shakes the conscience of us all. It lifts our spirits, fills us with joy, and gives us hope that this era of sovereigntism and populism may soon be consigned to the past. Long live a united and democratic Europe!

The victory of the opposition in Hungary yesterday, like the Polish election in 2023, is a victory for democracy, not just in Europe but around the world. Most of all, it’s a testament to the resilience and determination of the Hungarian people – and a reminder to all of us to keep striving for fairness, equality and the rule of law.

Epstein Survivor Juliette Bryant just released a message to Melania Trump:
“Hello Melania Trump. My name is Juliette Bryant. I’m an Epstein survivor. You want girls to testify under oath, well here I am testifying that everything I said is true. Unfortunately a lot of the girls who testified died. Maybe it’s time that you and your husband testify too.”

Epic View from Orbit:
Artemis II’s Fiery Return Captured from the ISS! Astronauts aboard the International Space Station caught this jaw-dropping photo — a blazing streak of plasma slicing across Earth’s atmosphere as NASA’s Artemis II mission came roaring home.On April 10, 2026, the Orion spacecraft Integrity completed its historic ~10-day crewed lunar flyby — the first since Apollo 17 in 1972. Commander Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch, and CSA astronaut Jeremy Hansen safely splashed down in the Pacific Ocean off San Diego at 8:07 p.m. EDT.That brilliant, glowing trail? It’s most likely the uncrewed service module as it separated and burned up in the intense heat of re-entry. Meanwhile, the crew module — protected by its advanced heat shield enduring temperatures up to ~5,000°F — carved through the atmosphere at hypersonic speeds before deploying parachutes for a picture-perfect ocean landing.Imagine floating 250 miles above Earth, watching fellow humans return from the Moon in a streak of fire. This single image captures the raw drama, danger, and triumph of deep-space exploration like nothing else. From Gagarin’s first orbit 65 years ago to this moment — humanity keeps pushing the frontier farther. What an incredible time to be alive in the space age! Tag a fellow space lover who needs to see this!

In her first public remarks since returning to Earth, NASA astronaut Christina Koch - the first woman to travel beyond low Earth orbit - shared what moved her most about the 10-day journey around the Moon. It wasn't the records broken, the craters named, or the solar eclipse witnessed from the far side. It was something she saw through a small window on the way home.
"When we saw tiny Earth, people asked our crew what impressions we had," Koch said at a welcome home ceremony in Houston on Saturday. "And honestly, what struck me wasn't necessarily just Earth, it was all the blackness around it. Earth was just this lifeboat hanging undisturbingly in the universe. I know I haven't learned everything that this journey has yet to teach me, but there's one new thing I know, and that is, planet Earth: You. Are. A. Crew."

This week: The lesson we can learn from Hungary, Rep. Swalwell leaves the California Gov race, Pam Bondi won’t be testifying about Epstein this week, and Trump is not well tonight as he attacks Pope Leo and portrays himself as a deity on Truth Social. open.substack.com/pub/joycevance…

Trump just made the case for his own blockade — accidentally.
“We have much more oil than Russia and Saudi Arabia combined. Boats are coming here and filling up. We don’t have to go through Hormuz.”
Read that carefully.
If America has so much oil that the world doesn’t need the Strait — why is the blockade necessary?

Trump just set the clock.
10 AM tomorrow. The blockade goes into effect.
“Iran will not be able to sell oil. That will be very effective.”
Other nations working — but Britain already said no.
The 30-nation coalition has no confirmed members. The UN Charter prohibits blockades of neutral shipping without Security Council authorization.
China, India, Japan, and South Korea move their oil through that strait.

: NASA’s Fiery Return from the MoonDid you know that during re-entry from the Moon, NASA’s Orion spacecraft slams into Earth’s atmosphere at nearly 25,000 mph (about 40,000 km/h)?At that blistering speed, the air in front of the capsule compresses so violently that it creates a plasma hotter than molten lava — temperatures soaring well above 5,000°F (2,760°C). The astronauts inside are shielded by one of the most critical pieces of engineering in human spaceflight: the Orion heat shield. This isn’t just a thick slab of material. It’s an incredibly sophisticated thermal protection system that must perform perfectly. Everything depends on precision — from the heat shield’s design to the exact angle of entry. If the capsule enters too steep, the intense heat and G-forces can overwhelm the shield, risking catastrophic burn-up.
If it enters too shallow, the spacecraft may skip off the upper atmosphere like a stone on a pond, potentially sending it back into space with no second chance.
One tiny miscalculation in trajectory or angle, and the mission ends in disaster.Truly breathtaking engineering and razor-sharp calculations keep our astronauts safe on their high-speed journey home from the Moon.
