Congratulations to Jeff Taegel P'26, '28, who has been named head coach of the MSJ swim program! Coach Taegel brings extensive experience in aquatics leadership, coaching, and education. We are excited to welcome Coach Taegel to the MSJ community!

It was a beautiful Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2026!

Honors Chemistry students have been competing in a dueling blackboard competition known as the Chem-Off. Each of the 3 classes crowned individual champions. They competed in a final battle of chemistry knowledge to crown the Chem-Off Champion, and Finnegan won the title!

Last week, MSJ students attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Carolyn E. Fugett Intergenerational Center – a first-of-its-kind opportunity hub dedicated to serving children, families, and older adults through education, support, and community connection.

On this Memorial Day, we pray for all those noble sons and daughters who gave their lives for our freedom, especially the Mount men listed on the plaques in Memorial Gymnasium. May they rest In peace. 🇺🇸

We had a wonderful End-of-School Mass where we prayed for our entire community including our newest Class of 2030, set to join us this fall!

With the end of the school year just 15 days away, students had an End-Of-Year Celebration today in Memorial Gymnasium!

This past weekend, some of our sustainability scholars attended a tree-planting event with the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy in Monkton, MD. They planted more than 25 trees as they enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air!

Congratulations to Jack McGuinn ’26 & Jace Milnes ’27, who won the MIAA B Conference #1 Doubles Championship, and to Matthew Wallace ’29 & August Lancelotta ’27, who won the #2 Doubles Championship at the MIAA Individual Tennis Tournament this week!

This Spring, MSJ's athletic department launched the Captains Council Pilot Initiative to bring together team leaders from each of our 17 varsity teams for conversations surrounding leadership, culture, and accountability.
