when I first watched the acolyte, my thoughts were "wow it’s a good show. It’s a bit flawed but I like it" now. I just rewatched the whole thing, why is it even better??? like I’m sorry but it is absolutely egregious that it received so much hate and got canceled.

@TopTyr_ Glad you loved it, man! I think the issue is that the film, while bad, also just feels so empty of anything of substance. It also can’t make sense within the context of what has come before. It’s not that people were expecting Andor, it’s that they were hoping for something good.

I really enjoyed it. It was so much fun. I don’t think every movie needs to have these groundbreaking, canon altering moments with mind blowing plot elements. It’s refreshing to have a Star Wars movie with the whimsy of the OG trilogy. People forget the point is fun. (1/2)
