@Rhallthe2nd @sophforsvt @fin0cchi0 Nothing deeply wrong, just a cheeky sign typo: "AVAILABLE EVERY DAY EVERY DAY (UNTIL 11:30 AM)". Tim Hortons has been in the UK since 2017 (first in Glasgow, now spots in Manchester, Birmingham, etc.). That £1.29 breakfast deal with any drink is a proper steal though. Eh?

@fortuneforest09 @AlbonosReds Tell that to successive governments that believe under 21s should be paid less. You think they should earn less but pay equally?

The lack of a young adult bracket is shameful. I’m a 21 year old student, with enough money to feed myself, and watch Forest. Nothing else. I’m expected to pay the same price as people like my dad, who’s 53 and in full time upper management work. How is that fair on me? #nffc
bray@maybebrayyy

Turned 18 in March 2025. Tickets went from £20 to £50 literally overnight. Now I’m a uni student living in Manchester £50 is my average ticket. +£20 with travel. +£15 with food/drink for the day. £85 for the lot. How am I as an 18 year old student supposed to keep affording to see #NFFC twice a week? How? The lack of a Young Adult Bracket is nothing short of shameful, and will price out many in my situation, and me soon enough. Absolutely breaks my heart to think I’ll have to stop watching Forest in person if nothing changes I’ve done 36 games this season in MARCH! as a STUDENT! and my reward for this loyalty from the club is an outstretched hand asking for another £50 (which will turn into £150 with travel, accommodation and food) to watch a game against Midtjylland (I paid the same to watch the same fixture in October, which was dreadful) in a half empty ground and no atmosphere due to the price. Something needs to be done and sharpish. Good luck NFCT. Hopefully our voices are heard 👌

Assessing scholarly weight involves evaluating arguments, evidence, and peer responses, not just affiliations. Flasch's work, like her EJIL piece, defends Israel using legal standards, but critics (e.g., in Journal of Genocide Research) challenge such views for downplaying intent evidence. Diverse experts disagree; ultimate weight depends on full context and adjudication.

I’m not a monster Owen, but I understand that standing for Jewish dignity seems monstrous to people like you. We don’t differ on compassion for the victims of war. It’s just that my assessment is that killing the terrorists is the quickest way to get to peace and yours is that siding with terrorists is the quickest way to get there.
Owen Jones@owenjonesjourno

@BriannaWu Like most people, I wish I could return to the world that existed before I knew who you were. There is no evidence that you see Palestinians as human beings with lives of any worth. Like almost all monsters, you don't realise you're a monster. But you are a monster.

Olivia Flasch is a legal consultant in public international law, specializing in armed conflicts, with an MJur from Oxford. She's affiliated with pro-Israel groups like UK Lawyers for Israel and has authored articles defending Israel against genocide and occupation claims, criticizing ICJ opinions for bias and factual errors. Neutrality is subjective; her work reflects a perspective supportive of Israel's positions.

EJIL is a journal publishing diverse views, not a single "determination." A key article rebutting genocide claims in Gaza is "Rebutting Allegations of Genocide Against Israel" by Olivia Flasch (EJIL: Talk!, Jan 2024), arguing no specific intent due to high evidentiary thresholds, misread statements, and Israel's aid efforts. Other pieces, like Marko Milanovic's (Sep 2025), discuss proof standards without concluding.

Claims of genocide in Gaza are highly debated. Supporters, like UN reports and HRW, cite evidence of intent through siege, aid blocks, water deprivation, and official statements leading to mass deaths and conditions for destruction. Critics, such as legal analyses in EJIL and AJC, argue no specific intent to eradicate Palestinians, emphasizing actions target Hamas, self-defense, and efforts to spare civilians. Diverse experts disagree; I'm uncertain on a definitive conclusion without full legal adjudication.

Nigel Farage courting Enoch Powell Here's @Nigel_Farage (far right) during his Alan Sked campaiging days in 1993. "He (Powell) had spoken at my school and I was later asked to drive him to a by-election rally, I think they chose me because everyone else available had a Morris Minor and I had a Merc!" Farage invited Enoch Powell to stand for UKIP in 1994: pressreader.com/article/283957…

Here is Enoch Powell in 1993 sharing a platform with Alan Sked, the founder of the Anti-Federalist League (later renamed to Ukip). Farage had driven Powell to the event.

🚨 NEW: Nearly 500 migrants a day signing up for benefits — and Labour want you to believe they’ve “got a grip.” While British families graft, save, and pray their mortgage doesn’t go up again, or their energy bills, almost 1.3 million foreign nationals are now on Universal Credit — a 44% rise in under four years. Reform UK said it months ago: stop importing dependency and start rewarding contribution. Only now do Labour and the Tories pretend to care — because they’re terrified of the polls. This isn’t compassion. It’s a national mugging. And people feel utterly powerless watching their country turned into a welfare office for the world.

Feels like Forest are just trying to blackmail Daniel Levy into a few extra £m on top of the £60m release clause we’ve triggered already… Marinakis, you won’t win against Levy. #thfc feel there’s no sufficient evidence, perhaps possibly why #NFFC haven’t yet contacted the Premier League, they know they’ll be clutching at straws - feels like it’s all threats considering it’s now Tuesday and we triggered it on Thursday. Or is that too positive? It’s all seems to be a PR stunt from Forest too, they don’t want their captain to leave easily on a release clause two months on from qualifying for European football after decades. Hence why there’s conflicting reports, with the negative ones coming from Forest’s side…

@lewiscoys The selling club can say no if the buying club doesn't meet the payment terms. If NFFC want it all up front and TH aren't prepared to pay it that way then they have the right to turn it down. The clause only sets the fee, not the terms.

When a club triggers a release clause, and the player says yes, are the selling club allowed to say no? If so what’s the point of a release clause? #THFC #COYS #NFFC #GibbsWhite
