@taxspendlib This takes me back to the early 80s along with Angel Delight and Arctic Roll.
For all you fellow Brits who say they’ve never heard of it - Peter Kay has! Skip to 3:34.

question for the golfers:
this is my first time watching the masters
what does the “1:44” next to mcilroy’s name mean
what what about the numbers for other names? (i know what the “-4” or whatever means i’m talking about the 68 and 12 and so on)
thanks
@sircallihan@SheaSerrano You’re so kind for sharing this. I’ll never forget Tiger Woods posting a -16, 1:68, 2:52, 7, 63 then getting 3 wickets in the 6th quarter. Incredible game
@Matthew__BTC@RealPostFolder I think hafnium is used in a lot of things, it has some very weird and useful properties to do with its electron clouds, I think you’d be done buddy :(
@RealPostFolder I think I might have lucked out with this one. Good luck being able to find enough of this stuff to even be able to use it against me, suckers! 😝
@top_tipz I totally agree. And the restarts timed as well like a ‘delay of game’ penalty in American Football. The match length would probably have to be reduced to 30 min each half though, otherwise the game could go on for 3 hours+. But you’d still get the same ball-in-play time as now.
I think the game would improve if we played 90mins. No more, no less. Ball goes out, player gets injured, clock stops. Ref has no say. No added time. Would eliminate time wasting and play acting massively. Countdown to 90mins would be magic if game was tight
@quartapoundaa@WeAreWST@ronnieo147 I think Steve James made a televised 16 red clearance many years ago for a 146. Obviously took smaller colours.
That’s the only other one I am aware of.
BTW, my opponents often score 169+ points against me but usually 4 points at a time!
@WeAreWST@ronnieo147 I’m sure this was done before once by a not so well known player in some qualifying round a few years ago? Free ball, extra black and clearance? 🤔
the very first digit is the major Industry Identifier (MII). It tells you the broad category of the issuer:
1 & 2: Airlines
3: Travel and Entertainment (Amex, Diners Club)
4 & 5: Banking and Financial (Visa, Mastercard)
6: Merchandising and Banking (Discover)
As a developer, have you ever wondered:
You type a 16‑digit card number
and the form instantly says “Invalid card number”.
There are billions of possible numbers.
How the hell is that check that fast?

British blokes….
I’ve purchased several “tins” of Heinz (British) beans because the idea of beans on toast intrigues me.
I eagerly anticipate a tasting.
Other than toasting bread and heating beans…
Are there any other steps/ingredients?
@Testycol@Medichampion328@timovh@147Magtr Ok, but what happens if a player hits the golden ball instead of the first red? What’s the foul?
(The ‘what ifs’ are getting more and more obscure!)
@Medichampion328@timovh@147Magtr Yes I think I’ve seen this before. I think the green and brown were both on and next to each other and the ref asked to nominate. Player forgot so the foul was 7 even though the black was not a feasible target.
In Dubai with the golden ball still on the table is the foul 20?
