@DSzymborski Do you think it comes from a misunderstanding of where the value is derived from a CS? They assume the value is from not allowing a guy in scoring position when the value is actually from erasing the runner.

The weirdest catcher thing that pops up all the time is "runner discouragement" as if it's a good thing for elite catching arms. Yadi would have been even *more* valuable if runners disrespected him more and made more objectively bad decisions to try and steal bases.

Two days ago I asked @Jacobb41 to talk me out of finishing the last 8ish seasons of Supernatural that I've missed to catch up for the series finale. I'm now halfway through S1 for a full rewatch of the series and I have R E G R E T S.
