Many congrats and prayers for a wonderful lifetime living the Sacrament to the couple whose marriage I was honored to witness today at this beautiful church in Grafton, IL. Congratulations, James and Laura (Mangi) Wertz!

Our youngest is going into high school next year, has recently gotten into golf, and looks forward to trying out the golf team. He's driving and putting balls in the side lot every afternoon. Last night he sent me a note with a link to a set of clubs and a plan to pay for them. I told him I liked how he was thinking, but to wait until his coach could also advise him on good equipment and where to find it. He followed up with another note... "Or we could work really hard this summer and get this for the basement," with a link to a $10,000 golf simulator.

This explains a lot. In the different Imagineer biographies and memoirs I've read, it's apparent that the closer that park ops / park leadership & Imagineering stay, the better the product starts out and stays. It's good to see this!
