What kind of year has @zanemills13 had thus far? He's made six appearances out of the pen, is 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA. In 12 innings, he's scattered a mere seven hits, has struck out 11, and opponents are only hitting .167 off the big righty. #GFC

In tonight's loss to the Timber Rattlers, @zanemills13 came on in relief in the bottom of the eighth. He pitched the full frame, didn't allow a run.

It was a good first full-season for Zane. The righty started 26 games across both low-A and high-A. He logged 144 innings (3.88 ERA) and struck out 104 against 35 walks. It would not be unreasonable to think he spends part or all of next year at Double-A. #GoCougs

Sunday's good outing by Zane against Beloit — his second in a row against that team — ends a phenomenal August! Across five starts, he was 2-1 in 28.1 innings, walking only four while striking out 19. He had a 1.91 ERA for the month. #GoCougs
