Homeowner waits until construction job is nearly done—then calls ICE on 6 of her own workers. Woman even provides the ladder used by agent to detain men—who she owes $10,000 for 3 day job. "She called the damn law on us and now we're totally screwed!" men yell in Spanish. "They surrounded us!—They surrounded us!" Agents even left behind the workers' van with doors wide open—filled with thousands of dollars worth of tools. The arrest was broadcast live for about 30 minutes by a co-worker—identified as Bryan Polanco. "Seeing it is not the same as experiencing it," he explains. "I’ve seen many videos, and sadly today I had to experience it." At the end of the video he gets the woman who called ICE on camera: "It is the same woman. Tidying up the house, and still with hatred in her heart." The incident occurred in Cambridge, Maryland.

@LongTimeHistory This is straight-up exploitation and theft. She hired them for a roofing job, let them do the work, then called ICE to dodge paying the $10k she owes. Sue her for the wages under Maryland labor law and make an example out of her.

That's a lie. Those Africans are seeking to take money away from Black American descendants of slaves. Africans should be forced to pay reparation to Black Americans, not receive them. They sold their own people into slavery.

This must be hard for many ADOS or whatever some of us Black Americans identify as. For decades, we've heard Democratic elected officials say that there isn't anything our government can do to make us whole. They don't have the power, whether in or out of power. So, it's disappointing to see the same Democrats stick together, turn American citizens' lives upside down to have laws changed to protect folks here illegally and unlawfully. It's a hard pill to swallow, even harder in an election year. Please share this.

@VineOfNorthLDN @iAnonPatriot I respect your point. I admire and respect English people, even though many owned slaves. They were people of their time. However, I have never met a Mitchell that was not a decent human being with some class and sophistication. So, we agree.

It's why America today is so full of religious fanatics, and why Americans in general lack sophistication and class White Americans were, and still are, second-class citizens.
