I’m currently taking 11 credits for the next month and don’t know why I did this to myself 😅 all for my CA teaching license. The things us educators will do to just try to get back in a classroom!

I spent a good 30 minutes last night making a blueprint for our Halloween outdoor decorations. Our neighborhood has a TON of kids and I’m trying to put my childless, teacher talents to good use! I can’t wait for the final product!

Excited to share that I am officially an online tutor for Prodigy! One of my absolute favorite platforms is now someone I get to work for!

When you find out the total cost of the 3 tests you need to take for your CA credential don’t even add up to one test for NC. NC do better for your teachers.

As a military spouse, I don’t really understand the ins, outs, and politics of it. But I do know that when someone dies, it hits our whole community and we all are hurting for those lost. I’m new to this sort of culture but sending so much love to our community today.

Oh and for the record, I am truly envious of all my friends going back this past week and will be starting Monday. I wish I was there with all you beautiful people! Having a serious case of FOMO seeing y’all 💕 have an AMAZING school year!

Interviewing and trying to get a teaching job in an overly populated and ideal location has been such a reality check for a little NC small town educator such as myself. BUT the more I interview the more experience, right?

No one tells you how hard it’s going to be watching all your teacher friends head back to school but you’re still waiting on a call. Looking like I won’t be back in a classroom as hoped. Trying to see the bright side of this 😢
