3/4M Book Tasting. We spent our morning “tasting” books from our classroom library and exploring different genres! So much fun!

Happy Pride Week!! Pride Week is off to a great start at SMES. Classroom visits from the GSA to share a story and colouring pages and rainbow tie dye at our GSA meeting to kick off the week! 🏳️‍🌈💕

Today is our first day @SMES01 working with Schools Plus, to host a grade 2 Lego Friendship Club! Students are working collaboratively together while accomplishing goals and tasks! The positive chatter is heartwarming! @AVHealthySchool @AVRCE_NS

Math Centers have returned this week and are always a class favourite. Lots of engagement and fun while practicing our number sense and addition and subtraction strategies. ➕➖
