キオン・エリスがネッツと2年$18Mの契約に合意。
2年目は史上初(たぶん)のチームオプション＆プレーヤーオプションつき。
The Athleticによると、「2年目は両サイドがオプトインするか決める事ができ、もしどちらもオプトインしなければフリーエージェントになる」そうです。どちらかオプトインすればチームに残る事になると解釈しました。

レナードは契約延長はラプターズかスパーズとしかしないつもりで、スパーズはレナード獲得には興味なし。レナードはラプターズと2年123.7Mの契約延長にサインする見通し。もうラプターズの親会社に株式やアンクルデニスの家を頼まないようにしていただきたい。
これでラプターズはファーストエプロンのハードキャップに。ここでの問題はレナードの$7.45Mのトレードボーナス。レナードがこれを無効にすればタックスまでは11人で$5.2Mに。これでも残り3人をミニマムで揃えてもタックスをわずかに超えてしまう。だが、タックスを超えても勝ちに行くつもりなら問題なし。$7.45Mのトレードボーナスがそのままな場合はトレードがなければタックス超えは確実。
クリッパーズのサラリーキャップはこのトレードで$3.2M下がった。まだキャップルームに$25Mほど余裕がありMLEも使える。

I’ve covered a lot of superstars transitions with the Lakers. Shaq-Kobe, Kobe-Dwight and now LeBron-Luka. None of them have been as clean as this one, which I think is a testament to the respect those two guys had for each other. Was there tension around the whole thing? Sure. But nothing compared to the fireworks of other transitions.

I want to thank LeBron James and his super agent Rich Paul for taking a meeting with me back in 2018 when I was President of the Lakers and deciding to sign with us. He created a whole new era for the Lakers, including leading us to an NBA Championship in 2020 and all the milestones he surpassed in a Lakers jersey. I’ll always love and be grateful for him and wish him all the best in the next phase of his life, on and off the court!

“I learned this from my time in San Antonio never forget at the end of my first year we as meeting as a staff Pop says, he’s mumbling under his breath I got to thank Tim Duncan, I’m thinking you got to thank Tim Duncan why you saying that? And he said he used to call me Mikey “He said Mikey if you’re best player doesn’t allow you to coach him you have no shot at coaching anybody else on the team and Tim allows me to do it.” And I will say this man to my left allowed me to coach him which allowed me to coach the rest of the team and made my job easier.
