@Benefitstheband Simple fact of the matter is money and living in Chester mostly means I have to go to Liverpool or Manchester, which adds even more travel costs. Something has had go give and unfortunately I've gone from going to 20 ish gigs a year to under 10.

Just watched a video where owners of small music venues in the UK were talking about the problems they’re facing rn. Poor advance sales, big costs etc. But I’m interested to know why YOU aren’t regularly going to gigs in grassroots venues? Whats the reasons?
