Joe Kent says his wife was killed in “a war manufactured by Israel...” First— everyone is deeply sorry for his loss. But the facts matter. Shannon Kent was killed in a 2019 ISIS suicide bombing in Syria— nearly two decades after the Iraq War began. Even if you accept the argument that Israel pushed the U.S. toward invading Iraq in 2003, how are they still responsible for America’s military presence in the region nearly two decades later?
