No member of Congress should go home or get paid until DHS is funded and the government is open. Taking a break while American workers are unpaid is a totally entitled, inexcusable low.

The people’s representatives are elected and can have whatever experience or lack thereof that the people choose. They do not need expertise if the people decide that. The president is not a subject matter expert and must rely on those in his cabinet to be so. Mullins does not have that expertise for the role.
