Because the astronauts are traveling so far, a series of Earth-based satellites known as the Deep Space Network help keep us connected to our Moon-bound crew. Did you know you can see those connections happening real-time? You can see which satellites are communicating with Orion by visiting: go.nasa.gov/4m6vnHP

Noem a few days ago. Tulsi Gabbard next. What's behind it? Well, they're all female, yes. But mainly it's the Cheeto Benito looking for someone to blame for the humiliation he and his MAGA death cult face in the midterms.

Next stop: lunar flyby. The Orion spacecraft recently ignited its main engine on the service module for about six minutes to provide about 6,000 pounds of thrust. This maneuver sets the Artemis II astronauts on the path to the Moon.

No one leaves home expecting tragedy. Yet every long weekend, lives are forever changed by preventable collisions caused by decisions made behind the wheel: speeding, impairment and distraction. With larger volumes of travellers eager to get to their vacation destinations, road users need to look out for one another. #BuckleUp, #SlowDown and #DriveSafe. #OPP officers will be out across the province to ensure all drivers are operating responsibly. See you on the road 🚔

OPP North West Region
The #OPP North West Region is always honoured to support events that bring our communities closer together, and this year’s Ice Road Challenge to Pikangikum truly embodied that spirit. We were inspired by the perseverance and determination of the cyclists and team members who made the journey possible. We extend our deepest gratitude to the community in Pikangikum for their warm hospitality and incredible support. The spirit, energy and heart behind this event reminded us all of the power of coming together to uplift and encourage one another. ^kr

A powerful initiative with an outstanding outcome.🚲 Earlier this year, 50 riders from across the province gathered for the #IceRoadChallenge2026, a unique, 125km journey that was as inspiring as it was unforgettable. By the time the tires rolled off the ice, more than $66,000 had been raised to help expand youth bike programming in Pikangikum First Nation. The impact will last long after the snow melts. This year’s ride revealed something larger than the challenge alone. It demonstrated that when people unite with purpose, even the most remote roads can lead to opportunity.
