@gardnerstuart39 Thanks. I think that is the basic Roman position: the Roman gods were “there”. The question was, what did they do?

Prof Mary Beard makes an interesting point. She doesn't linger on it but the Romans didn't believe in the gods like an internal faith they were sort of just there. That's interesting point to make. Would like to understand this more. @wmarybeard

@OrkneyLibrary Our library hosts stuffed animal sleepovers.🧸 Kids bring their stuffies for evening storytime, leave them in the care of the children's librarians, and find out the next day what adventures their friends had overnight in the library. Perhaps Polly was inspired to try her own!
